If you're looking for the answer to how to lose weight quickly without working out then you probably either don't have the inclination or don't have the time to exercise. There are all kinds of reasons to want to lose weight including work, your health, your self-esteem, etc. So if you want to learn how to be skinny like a model without doing any exercise then read on because I am going to go over a few things that you can do to accomplish your goals.

Here Is How To Get Skinny Fast Without Working Out: First, Drink Lots Of Tea And Water

1. Drink plenty of liquids. And I'm not talking about soda or Kool-Aid. You should drink only clear liquids but it's best to stick to water and/or tea (unsweetened). This has several beneficial outcomes. First, you cut down a LOT of calories each day if you don't drink soda or other sugary beverages. Think about it, if you drink 2 Cokes in one day that's 300 calories! Throw in a bottled sugary tea or lemonade and you're getting close to one meals worth of calories just in 24-32 ounces of liquid. Drinking water and tea is also beneficial because it raises your metabolism. Most people don't know this but it's true. Water and green tea especially. Plus green tea will give you pep because of the caffeine and it's full of beneficial substances like antioxidants.

Then Eat Some MUFAs

2. Consume MUFAs. MUFAs (monounsaturated fatty acids foods) are containted in certain foods that burn belly fat. So it's a good fat that helps eliminate bad fat. You can find MUFAs in different foods: olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, avocados, olives (black or green), dark chocolate, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, peanut butter, cashews, macadamia nuts, tahini, sunflower seeds). You should try and add some MUFAs to every meal you have. Don't overdo it. A little bit goes a long way.

Finally, Say NO To Processed Foods

3. Completely cut out (and I mean completely) sugary foods, high-fat foods, and processed foods. If you really want to lose weight you will stop eating doughnuts and fast food. Period. This stuff is addictive (really, it's actually addictive) and it can be hard to break away from the pattern of eating it but if you focus on more positive aspects of your diet then you should be able to handle it. For instance, focus on how great you're going to feel when you lose the weight you're going to lose and how awful you'll feel if you eat at a fast-food restaurant. Replace thoughts of fried grease filled foods with thoughts of sweet, seedless grapes bursting in your mouth, or hearty tomato and parmasean covered pastas, or piping hot oatmeal covered with blueberries and a little bit of brown sugar.

It's good to see a hub with good and accurate information. That's not trying to sell some weight loss program. Obesity is a ecademic and to many people are trying to make a buck off of it. With workout programs, suppliments, etc... When all it really takes is eating properly. I'm eating according to the glycemic index. Once again, I enjoyedreading this hub.

I fully agree! Exercise and a healthy, balanced diet is the way to go to lose weight and keep it off for life. Too many people are looking for the "quick fix" which really doesn't exist. Any weight you do lose quickly with a "fad" diet will come right back the second you stop the doing it. Thanks for the comment Blair!

Hi, well this certainly works for me! lol well in theory, and it will do when I try it, I have tried everything just to get rid of my fattening middle. I work from home now, so that exercise has gone, so anything else will be a great bonus, thanks

Hey Nell,

I know! I REALLY don't like working out (although I do enjoy a nice walk) so I try to lose weight through my diet. And I work from home too! I used to work in retail management so I was on my feet 8 hours a day. Now I'm on my bottom for most of the day and the pounds are much harder to get rid of. I'm glad you liked the hub. Talk to you soon!
