There really is no best way of losing weight in one week. There are, however, a few tricks you can try that can help you lose belly fat at home quickly. Listed below are a few of those tricks. These take some will power and more than likely when you stop doing them you will probably gain the weight back. Like most nutritionists and weight loss experts I recommend that you change your diet and exercise frequently to maintain weight loss. However, in this article we will discuss safe ways in which you can lose weight faster.

1. Before you start eating put pot of water on the stove to boil.  When the water begins boiling get up from your meal and make yourself a hot cup of green tea.  Drink it slowly and enjoy the aroma and flavor.  When you're done you may find you're not hungry anymore.

2. Stop drinking any beverage that has sugar. This includes artificial sugar.  Soda or other sugary drinks have a lot of worthless calories and contain zero nutritional benefits.  Cutting back on soda and other drinks that contain sugar or artificial sugar can greatly reduce your caloric intake.

3. If you feel a sugar craving coming on the best thing to do is to either have some sweet fruit (a couple of strawberries or a couple of dried dates work well) or even a piece of sugar-free gum.  If you want to drop weight quickly the first thing that MUST go is cookies, doughnuts, candy, etc. 

4. Want a snack?  Have some carrots dipped in hummus.  Hummus is VERY low in calories as well as carrots.  Plus you can eat quite a bit of this without going over 100 calories. 

5. Try and eat 5, small, healhty, low calorie meals a day.  Don't cut back on how much you eat.  If you do you'll only starve and then binge eat.  If you eat 5 meals a day and you only consume vegetables, fruits, fish, and very lean meats you can lose weight rather quickly.

6.  Exercise.  Take a LONG walk every day.  If you're in better shape then you should go for a jog.  Do whatever type of exercise you can that will burn any excess calories that you have consumed.  If it's winter time find a treadmill and walk for a few miles.  Not everyone likes exercise but if you're going to lose weight you HAVE to do it.

7. Eat lots of fiber, especially in the morning.  Fiber "sticks to your ribs" as my Mother says.  It takes longer to digest so it stays with you and it helps regulate digestion.  Don't go for a fiber muffin at your local coffee shop however because it's LOADED with extra calories.  Try having some oatmeal in the morning with a little bit of brown sugar, syrup, or dried fruit.  This is filling and will definitely help you lose weight.

Consistency Is Key

Remember if you really want the best way of losing weight in one week you have to maintain these tips consistently every day.  There are other options for you to lose belly fat at home but they are more long term.  Losing weight is not an easy thing to do but with the right training  you can achive any weight loss goal you want.
